What we collect and why
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address and the details you provide. This information is sent directly to our inbox via our own mail server — it is not passed through any third-party form service. We use it only to respond to your enquiry. We don't add you to any mailing list without your permission.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand how the site is used (page views, referrers, general geographic region, and key interactions such as CTA clicks and form submissions). Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect any personally identifiable information.
Cookies
This site does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. Our analytics tool (Umami) is cookieless by design.
How we store and protect your information
Contact form submissions are received via email and stored in our email system. We do not maintain a separate CRM database at this time. We take reasonable steps to protect your information and do not share it with third parties except as required to provide the service (e.g., our email provider).
Your rights under the NZ Privacy Act 2020
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to request correction if it's wrong. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@2050.nz. We'll respond within 20 working days.
