Pristine Occasional Table by Kipp Stewart in Walnut and Mahogany

Produced in 1964, this minimalist pedestal table by Kipp Stewart for Drexel has been completely restored and is in pristine condition.

The stem and base are produced from walnut and the table top is likely mahogany or a special cut walnut in a radial pattern that has stunning light shimmering properties, i.e. when the table is rotated or your viewing position changes, sections of the radial pattern become highlighted. While the base and stem show rich walnut colors, the top has the same tones except the reds are highlighted providing a contrast. The lacquer used is exceptional quality and will last for decades with annual waxing. Ideal for use in living rooms or where a strong and sturdy table is required for a lamp or other display.
