Exceptional Articulating Desk Lamp with Wood and Steel Features

Exceptional desk lamp with triple articulated movement features. The main arm slides up and down the main stem as required, but the arm itself can also slide back and forth along the pivot including tilting the lamp.

This is a very early lamp with components dating it to the 1940’s. You will notice the pivot and handle are wood rather than steel. We are unaware of the manufacturer though other lightolier lamps from the era match components and it is most likely Lightolier. Features a single socket with the on and off switch located on the top of lamp. The socket was replaced some time ago. Steel ingot lays within the base providing sturdy support and is lined with green felt. This article is in excellent condition. Mixed materials of wood (maple) brass, steel and aluminum.
